Julia was imported by Peter Leone and competed through 1.50m and National Grand Prix before changing riders to Amanda Knowles in 2008.
It was that year Julia and Amanda competed for Canada on the Developing Riders Tour throughout Europe at venues including CSIO**** Poznan, CSI*** Aach, and CSIO**** Lipica where they picked up a second place finish on the Big Tour.
Her sire, Diamant Rouge II, is a son of the great Papillon Rouge; one of the best French jumping stallions. Offspring include Fleche Rouge (Leopold van Asted NED) and Mozart des Hayettes (Michael Whitaker GBR). With sire, Jalisco B, Papillon Rouge carries the influential bloodlines of some of the worlds best. Dam sire, Kapoc, fathered three international jumpers, one international dressage horse and at least two licensed stallions during his breeding career.
