Starlet (ex Sitty) was imported to North America at age 5. She had a successful career jumping at the Grand Prix level with riders Jay Hayes, Lauren Hayes and Sarah Johnstone. Starlet’s career included many wins and placings in internationally rated Grand Prixs and World Cup Qualifiers before retiring to the breeding shed at age 14. Her sire, Monaco, is an approved KWPN stallion by the famous Animo, who also sired the great Andiamo amongst other exceptional show jumpers and stallions. Her Dam, Citty, “the golden mare”, is ranked in the top 200 breeding mares in Holland. Citty is the mother of three other Grand Prix jumpers and an approved stallion; her last foal, Perfect Choice (ex Cincitty, s. Numero Uno), was sold at Holger Hetzel’s auction, at age 5, for a record sum to Ludger Beerbaum Stables. Starlet’s dam sire, Ramiro, a legend of his own, was an international performer under Fritz Ligges with wins in Nations Cups and Puissance competition. Ramiro’s most notable progeny, Ratina Z, had an illustrious career with riders Piet Raymakers and Ludger Beerbaum.
